I was trying to figure out why it sounded so familiar to me. I looked around and found out why. That is the same statement they made when they released the bios for 2000. Here is a LINK to what they posted in 2000. This bio was modified around the time that NC came back to join the X-Men.
And I was happy to see the power meter back, but saddened to see such discrepancies in the bios. Logan having such a high agility really amazed me. But maybe they will attribute it to the Mutant baby boom. Heck he grew 3 feet, why not this. But in all I do like the new Marvel. Especially their new slant on giving better previews of upcoming titles. It wont be to long before we see an image of Kurt.

Well, they sure did screw him over well, didn't they! Those are horrible stats! Please!
Three bright points though:
I love the picture! The costume is growing on me. Kurt + leather = yum!

I love this line:

Captain Britain led Excalibur in name; in reality, the task fell to Nightcrawler, due to the other hero's incompetence.

LMAO!!!
But, I thought he was the official leader later in the series. During and after Alan Davis' last run.
And it says he's not a full-blown priest yet. There may be hope for him yet.

Okay just finished reading it. Other than the stats I really liked it. They touched upon facets of Kurt's history missed in previous bios.
Mentioned Kurt briefly lead the X-Men, apparently not well known.
And that Kurt was the heart behind Excaliber. Which he later officially led
This is the first time I have seen these facts mentioned. As for the 3 weak points
1. Stat grid: Everything works for me but the agility. He was written to be the equal of beast. I compared the other X-characters and they seemed correct. Though I haven't had time to go and re-check the cards. Wolverine's bio seems to be the only one who is off, but that could just be me. And the others who feel the same way {reference previous posters}
2. The whole mother abandonment. Well essentially that is what happened. Mystique's baby looked like a demon and the town hunted her down. Fear for her safety she launched the baby over the waterfalls. At least this was revealed in X-Men unlimited #4. If other events occurred, it has not been revealed. Since X Unlim #4, Kurt and Mystique have not had any interaction. So Marvel could be moving away from their relationship. By just avoiding the issue.
3. His dark fur helps him blend in shadows. Okay in a way it does, but it is his connection to the Darkforce Dimension that really has him become invisible in shadows. Or rather distorts light when he is in shadows so he appears invisible. Beast Files.
Other than those 3 points, I think the bio is great. Very concise and to the point. With a few tidbits thrown in.

That's true. I read right over that one! They mention his connection to the universe when he ports, but not for his invisiblity. Huh.

HECK YEAH! Logan smarter AND more Agile than Kurt?!? LMAO!!!
Going to make sure to point that out when I mail em. BAMFCENTRAL I agree with you completely. Except for the power rankings (
) and the (as usual) lack of understanding about his shadow blending should work, that's a pretty good bio!
But those power rankings.....AAARRRGH!!!!
Oh yeah, and I think of all of the new X-costumes, The Fuzzy Elf and Warren's are definitely the best.
BAMF!

Shouldn't swords be listed under Weapons? Just a thought...

Slarti-"Kurt+leather=yum!"
You can say that again!
Im also glad that they finally aknowledge that Kurt lead the X-Men briefly AND finally put it on record that he was ALWAYS the leader of Excalibur despite what CC has said in past interviews.I have to wonder about this man sometimes(with all due respect, ofcourse).Just like when he insisted Gambit was the leader in his second run but Storm and Jean were calling most,if not all, of the shots!

Yeah Shady they SHOULD.
Heaven forbid Marvel should let on how Multi-talented and formidable Nighty is!
Unless they think that a sword-fighting preist might upset some bible thumpers(Note:Im not stating all religious people are like that).Y'know I cant help but wonder if thats why they downplayed Kurt so much fighting-wise.But that still doesnt explain the low intellgece.
